The Good Day.

With squinted eyes, my daily routine started. You would think with a everyday agenda consisting of the same activities would be rather boring right? Wrong. Today was both good and bad. And it "feels" as if most days to come could get better.

I got to work this morning only to find that the store was not ready to open. At the time I got there, we open an hour later and only 35 percent of the place was ready to go. With some of the lackies bullshitting going on, another co-worker and I kicked it into high gear and got the place ready to go. All the while in a neighboring city prepared for an annual tractor pull that is so popular, it draws people from California. Which means of course that we were to be slammed. From the time our doors opened until the time I left we were so busy, that is was a feat for our manager to render breaks. A busy day indeed.

On another note, that good ole' radio show does their "best of" on Saturdays and it was far from the best I have heard out of them. They usually recap the most hilarious moments of the week and replay them. At the time I tuned in, one of the radio hosts phoned his mother and the joke was the constant soundboard effects they kept playing in the background. His mother would relentlessly ask what the noises were and you could hear the other hosts and producers sniggering in the background. If that is considered funny, then Dick Cheney should be a comedian and George Carlon should have been a politician.

I also received word from our new "soon to be" manager of some good news to my benefit. Since I have relayed this blog URL to some co-workers, I cannot disclose that information at this time but I will in a future post. Needless to say, some much needed changes are starting to unfold in our disorganized little business.

Thats all for today, I will work on more lengthier posts when I can get off my ass and learn to go to bed before midnight. Ya'll have a good night.
